A 2.4kWp Solar PV Installation Could Look Like This

12 Solar PV Panels covering approximately 18m² of south facing roof.

This is a similar area to 12 skylight windows grouped tightly together. The photo above shows 2 rows of 6 panels but we design the layout to work on your roof. Incidentally, the 2 larger panels on the left of the Solar PV panels are solar thermal panels providing heating and hot water.

Solar PV Potential Income from 2.4kWp, 12 panel array

The total potential income paid to you is £1,026 per year
(includes saving on electricity bills based on 50% of electricity used and 50% exported)

Your investment is paid back in just 8 – 9 years

The total potential tax free income paid to you over 25 years is in excess of £25,650

An array of Solar PV panels like this will produce enough electricity (approx. 2,000kWh/year) to meet 30 – 40% of the annual electricity needs of a family of 4. This is equivalent to powering the washing machine, dishwasher, oven and ironing for a year.
