NIBE Heat Pumps

Heat pumps harness low grade heat energy from the ground, water or air and, using pressure, increase this to the point where it can be used to heat hot water and distributed through radiators or underfloor heating.

Electricity is required to run the compressor and circulation pumps but for one unit of electricity the heat pump will produce, on average, 3.5 to 4.5 units of heat and consequently saves a high proportion of energy and therefore running cost.
