Ecoliving offers loan and lease funding for non-domestic renewable energy projects
Ecoliving becomes a Recognised Supplier with the Energy Efficiency Financing (EEF) Scheme run by Carbon Trust Implementation Services and Siemens Financial Services.
The EEF is designed to help organisations save money, reduce energy waste and therefore their carbon footprint. Financing payments are calculated so that they are offset by anticipated energy savings from new renewable energy plant installed like pellet boilers, heat pumps or solar panels.
"The addition of these funding alternatives to Ecoliving's renewable heating package is great news for commercial customers who can now benefit from running cost savings and income from the Renewable Heat Incentive without tying up working capital," says Ecoliving MD, Colin Kerr.
Energy Efficiency Financing is available to all kinds of businesses and organisations, from sole traders and partnerships through to large corporates, local authorities and other public sector organisations.
The Government's Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is designed to incentivise organisations to switch from fossil fuels for heating to renewable technologies like biomass boilers, ground source heat pumps and solar thermal panels. Ecoliving works with organisations to assess what the most appropriate alternatives are and calculates anticipated energy savings as well as income from the RHI which is paid quarterly over 20 years.
Recent RHI installations completed by Ecoliving include a ground source heat pump installation for the new 42 bed wing at Dundonald Care Home with an anticipated payback of less than 3 years and ongoing RHI income of over £14,500 a year for 20 years.
