£3M Funding Pot for Social Housing Heating Retro-fit
Ecoliving, part of the Turner Group, has made available a funding pot of £3,000,000 to support social landlords in the fight against fuel poverty.
The £3M of funding is designed to strengthen bids to the Warm Homes Fund by keeping the amount per property to a minimum and enabling more properties to be treated.
Round 1 of the £150M Warm Homes Fund (WHF) closed in September 2017 with 43 Registered Social Landlords progressing to contract discussions and likely to secure a chunk of £32M to help fund the capital cost of new central heating systems for non-gas, fuel poor households.
Round 2 is open for new applications from late November 2017 and Ecoliving is working with social landlords with projects identified and with those looking to scope new projects for a Warm Homes Fund bid.
