Energy Saving Trust
The Energy Saving Trust is a non-profit organistaion, funded by the government and the private sector. The Energy Saving Trust aims to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by offering free advice to people throughout the UK.
REAL Assurance Scheme
The REAL Assurance Scheme has been set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business.
The Carbon Trust
The Carbon Trust was set up by Government in 2001 as an independent company. There mission is to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy by working with organisations to reduce carbon emissions and develop commercial low carbon technologies.
Scottish Community and Householder Renewables Initiative (SCHRI)
SCHRI is funded by the Scottish Government and provides funding and advice to householders and communities. The household stream is managed by the Energy Saving Trust and the community stream is jointly managed by the Energy Saving Trust and Highlands and Islands Community Energy Company (HICEC).
Ground Source Heat Pump Association
The Ground Source Heat Pump Association, which grew out of the
Ground Source Heat Pump Club, was launched in 2006. The association
aims to encourage the growth and development of the ground source heat
pump industry in the UK.
