Ecoliving is an accredited installer under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and the majority of our products are accredited under the scheme which has become a mark of professionalism and quality. This is important as most grant funding from funding bodies is conditional upon both the installer and product being accredited.
Microgeneration Certification Scheme
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent scheme that certifies microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. It is designed to evaluate microgeneration products and installers against robust criteria providing greater protection for consumers.
The MCS is the only certification scheme to cover all microgeneration products and services, and has support from the Department of Energy and Climate Change, industry and non-governmental groups as a prime methods for making a substantial contribution to cutting the UK's dependency on fossil fuels and carbon dioxide emissions.
Renewable Energy Assurance Listed
Set up by the Renewable Energy Association, the REAL Assurance Scheme's key aims are to ensure that renewable energy consumers are provided with a high quality service, as defined in the REAL Consumer Code. The code shows entitlements and expectations of customers whilst acknowledging that customers maintain the right to complain if standards are not met. Being a member of this association shows our dedication to high standards of customer service and our determination to provide customers with support at every stage.
Ground Source Heat Pump Association
Launched in 2006, the Ground Source Heat Pump Association essentially aims to promote the highest standards of professionalism and technical competence within the Ground Source Energy Industry. In doing so, it ensures members are performing to approved technical standards, providing appropriate training and working within codes of practices. Additionally, the association aims to influence the government as well as other relevant bodies in an attempt to promote the sustainable use of renewable energy.
The Solar Trade Association
The Solar Trade Association represents the interests of its member companies, made up of UK based Solar Thermal (solar hot water) companies. Solar hot water heating systems capture the sun’s abundant and clean energy and convert it into a form which can be used to provide a contribution towards our hot water demands, offering a cost effective, reliable and environmentally responsible alternative to traditional systems.
